Known for her light-hearted and humorous approach to gardening, Marianne is a syndicated garden columnist and the author of seven books including her most recent Gardening Month by Month in Washington and Oregon and the best seller Easy Answers for Great Gardens. Although her approach to gardening is fun-filled, her educational background is serious, as a summa cum laude graduate with a degree in horticulture from Washington State University.

Marianne Binetti is also a regular guest on the HGTV show Smart Solutions, gives daily tips on gardening for KIXI radio and writes for several national magazines including Better Homes and Gardens. She is also a staff columnist for the Seattle
